Why blur the differences between the parties any further than McCain has already done? Even Reid regards Lieberman as a perfect ally except when it comes to Iraq.

In my opinion, some of Bush's biggest failings came when he caved to the democrats.

At some point, a stand must be taken.

It's time to shrink government and get our fiscal policy under
control. Having a socially liberal "independent" would not necessarily accomplish anything positive.
