A couple of notes on my diet. I have added my daily two heaping tablespoons of ground flax seed to my oatmeal instead of taking it with applesauce. So my Oatmeal breakfast now includes 3/4 cup of oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of Splenda, 2 of flax seed and oat bran, raisins and walnuts. 3 minutes in the microwave and it's ready. Add low-fat milk and - Tastes great!

This switch to a high fiber diet had changed my bowls from constipated to loose. Add that to a prior colitis condition that still slightly affects me and it makes life interesting.

I have added Soy Protein powder to my daily intake, as recommended by Davis. I take a scoop of it with a cup each of water and milk and 6 frozen strawberries with 2 tablespoons of splenda. Into the Osterizer and "Yum!"

My other meals are spinach w/mushrooms and onions and garlic; Ratatouille, and Turkey Chili.
