Republicans have always dealt better with race issues than Democrats.....Besides which, there was no choice in the last election, you either voted for Bush or for a morally deficient idiot.... Is that why the Dixiecrats ran to the GOP in the 1960s when the Dems were pushing for equal rights for all races? Is that what you meant when you said GOPers dealt better with race issues? Because, in fact, it looks to me like GOPers didn't want to deal with race issues at all.
