I know enough to know Rezko didn't befriend and raise $250K for Obama without getting something for it. I'm not surprised that Obama helped lower the number of positions on the Health Facilities Planning board (from 15 to 9) makng Rezko's scheme to stack the board with cronies easier. Rezko was convicted on his scheme to control this and the teacher retirement system and steer investments where he wanted, control what facilities got built, and extract kickbacks and payoffs all along the way.
