From MarketWatch: Toyota to cut 2009 sales forecast to 9.8 million units Toyota Motor Corp. plans to reduce its 2009 sales forecast to 9.8 million vehicles from the 10.4 million it projected earlier, reflecting a weakening demand for automobiles in world's major economies ... This is more than a U.S. slowdown; this suggests the economic slowdown is widespread.
