Good for Buffet. I wish they would interview Steve Forbes-----when I need a voice of reason Forbes Mag. is always where I look. A writer who is very perceptive who writes for Forbes is British historian Paul Johnson. Johnson's opening paragraphs in that issue of Sept 1st are so clear-----entitled Let Economies Cure Themselves. Johnson speaks of the 3 essential roles of the government--- "external defense, internal order and maintaining an honest currency". He writes of a 'do-everything-governement that is crippling society with it's regulation and legislation and indicating that the 3 essentials have been ignored in Britain. While he writes of Britain-----this is applicable to what has been happening in the USA. This is the direction that we see with people like Al Gore and his global warming; Pelosi's freshman Congress; Obama's socialist call for Federal Government Control. When I think of people like Forbes and Johnson I realize what an opportunistic novice Obama truly is. No more rants today---think I said enough mj
