I received a local newspaper about a visit by Kaine to Leesburg Virginia.

Kaine credits his being considered for VP to his being the first Governor to endorse Obama back in February. And played somewhat coy when ask.

Despite Kaine's endorsement of Obama the Democrats had only about a 28% voter turn out in Virginia between Hillary and Obama. My analysis is on the other Obama Board regarding specific statistics and may be on LB's site.

Republicans had no need to turn out for the Va Primary as McCain had been declared the winner before the Primary.

I am not surprised at the Dems stopping the advertising as the convention will be broadcast and is the free advertisement.

To add to the 'romantic'Kansas story----------Kaine and Obama's mother were born in the same town in Kansas---Eldorado per Kaine in his remarks.

If Obama should choose Kaine over HIllary just be prepared for that little fact to be repeated ad nauseum.
