Well, then, you're gonna have to close your eyes a lot this cycle, cause after the 2004 smear on Kerry, Democrats are not going to take the Rove tactics lying down.

It is ironic and alarming to see John McCain - subject of Rovian smears in 2000, and defender against the Kerry liars of 2004 - allow his campaign to take such a direction. Ambition? Lack of control over his own campaign? Something more serious?
