ALSO is Hebrew (More properly, it predates the time that Hebrew and Arabic linguistically split) as may be seen from the names of several well-known Jewish figures: Ehud Barak (Current Israeli Minister of Defense....) Bernard Baruch, famous investor/speculator etc.
