I'd be ok with moron presidents as long as everyone who didn't want the dumb guy could have someone else.

I am surprised more people aren't focused on just how little McCain will be able to do with a 51% election "victory". No congressional majority, no big electoral mandate, no great personal popularity or charisma...he won't get support to start any new wars, his SC appointments will be compromises, etc.

At best he could be a blocking force to hold together the crumbling shreds of the Bush-Cheney-Rove era.

If that can garner a majority of American voters, we deserve nothing better than what we have right now, IMHO.
