It says Rezko "helped him buy his million-dollar mansion" by "purchasing part of the property he couldn't afford." That's true, but only because the seller wanted to sell the two parcels as a unit and the Obamas couldn't afford both. Thats from your link. Now why would a wife of a man who claims to be bankrupt put up $625K to buy a 60 foot wide strip of a yard? Why would Barack let them do this? He couldn't afford the house otherwise? Maybe, but either way he is being done a favor. Whats in it for the Rezko's? What is gonna be developed on a strip of land 60' wide? 50' wide now, since Obama bought a 10' wide strip of it. My explanation is the best one I've seen so far. No liberal can explain why Rezko's wife bought part of Obama's yard. I think I can explain it though. I think Obama didn't know he would be under national scrutiny or that Rezko would be in prison in a few years. So he went along with a scheme to lower the price he paid for his house by letting a part of the property be bought by a corrupt crony who would quietly deed it over to Obama in a few years for a dollar or so. If anyone knows of an explanation that makes more sense, I challenge you to post it.
