The VW incident was before his big break through with the Corvette. Recall it because the German factory - correctly - claimed that a car isn't intended to be driven like that. Now, I must admit I spent 15 minutes or so looking for this on the Web but never found anything. That said, I recall that incident fairly well because I was kind of a motor freak back then. Taro
