McCain's claim that the surge worked is nothing but a hogwash. The reason we see a apparent peace in Iraq is because like the migrating whales, the Taliban migrated to Afghanistan and Pakistan and secondly it is the Sunnis and not General Patreaus who took matters in their own hands and turned against the Al Qaeda in Iraq after the bombing of a marriage party in Jordan.
