Lenny, I overweighted a little too much in the semi's myself. But
the decision was not made on an whim or tip. I'll admit to a little bottom fishing, but I was not at the bottom on some of these. Irrespective of all of this, the semis appear to be bargains based
on fundamentals and valuations relative to other companies. Assuming the industry has a future, a little time should produce returns above the norm. My knowledge of specific companies in the industry
is not that great, but KLA and TNCR and Brooks show as good bargains
based on the numbers but AMAT does not. Lam also does but I'll admit
that Lam is causing me to rethink decisions in this area.
