"For what should be obvious reasons, any "history" about a leader of a religion has got to be suspect. " The Mormons, founded HERE with people noticing and writing about it in English, is a great example of WHY to suspect what religions say about themselves. I imagine Christianity was much the same, with the huge advantage of thousands of years in power with the ability to revise and completely scrub their history. The poor Mormons get no such slack.
