Meg Whitman would also carry the taint of her Ebay story, which she has convinced McCain is a pure success story. It was a pure success story five years ago. Since then management arrogance, greed, and general cluelessness have badly alienated their customers and brought growth on the site to a halt.

You know those million eBay sellers McCain talked about? They all hate eBay's guts nowadays, and are looking to make their escape wherever possible.

No, Meg Whitman would be bad news all over. Whoever McCain selects has got to be considered a possible President by the members of the Republican Party. Without making them reach for barf bags.
