You do understand that to buy the lot meant most likely it was an all cash deal. Its very difficult to get a loan on vacant land.

No, it isn't. Idiot.

Whether you can get a loan depends on net cash flow and the value of the collateral. And not much else. (Except in the case of a politician, which definitely increases the odds).
