Still not a lot of detials about which families of FPGAS they are able to convert or when they will realy get rolling. I'm also curious about what IDT's arrangement is with Clear Logic. IDT has taken part in or spawned serveral new start-ups recently and it's not clear how much IDT will benefit from these relationships. There is a balance between control and creativity. If IDT tries to own every creative process 100%, they face losing some of the motivation to develop new product ventures and face the posibility of people leaving to start these on their own. On the other hand, these guys aren't dealing with play money but with IDT investor's money and sweet deals that they can get for themselves can run counter to benefiting IDT shareholders. The nature of these deals need to be explained fully in IDT's finacial statements, including how much intellectual property was developed by IDT before these companies were spun off, how the insiders are benefitting and what piece of the profits IDT will get.
