'How many' is hardly "intricate". How long have they been married?

This is stupid.

The guy was asked, "How many homes do you own?". He is in the midst of a presidential campaign, doesn't want to answer the question incorrectly, and doesn't know the answer so he says I'll get back to you. A totally reasonable thing to do.

Some of these properties are for sale. Others are not commonly used by him. It is not shocking and should not be problematic for him to answer as he did.

Of course, most people only have one home so for them the answer is a no-brainer. But a wealthy person, which McCain and his wife are, has several properties and is constantly buying and selling real estate. I've known people who owned 100 or more pieces of real estate at a time. Who weren't even wealthy.

This is just liberal gotcha politics at its worst. And it isn't going to cut any ice with voters.
