Irv your opinions are valid (to a person with 20/20 hindsight) Most of know what went wrong.

"Why is Corel getting into the network computer business at all?"

They are in the business, the sign is on the building, you can see it driving down the 417 in Ottawa. Right downtown in plain view. The question is: Can they hype the product and then dump the company with a successful IPO?

"There's no reason for this company to be losing money."
There was areason and the future looks as if they will be able to. The overhead has been reduced. With Corel Computer separate (This might have been Cowplands best move), Corel could concentrate and make money. example: A&P has been cut in half from 20m to 10m / Qtr. With most of the accounting entries behind us, this looks positive.

"Cowpland is more interested in beating out Bill Gates and pursuing grandiose thinking than running a for profit business."
True but past tense again. I think Cowpland has realized that second is OK.

Lets not forget that Cowpland is a "Start-up Genious" as some people put it. Corel Computer is in fact a start-up. Lets see the genious in action.

"fire the current management"
Pipe dream my friend. Stock will go to $1 before that happens.

"I sold my Corel holdings after reading David Taylor's post. It finally made me come out of denial."
I don't blame you at all Read my posts I was very verbal about my disgust, even wrote him. Made the papers. Ive met the man, talked to him. I will say this.

There is a slight gimmer of hope in all of this. Look past the past and look for the potential in the future. We might all be eating our words with a "Fork and Spoon" (God I hope so!)
