Are you saying that such children should be aborted to save health care costs? I'm not sure I get your drift.

This thread started out talking about abortion. I made the point that having had a family member born at 2 lbs had some impact on my pro-choice views. And now, you're telling us about how expensive it is to care for low birthweight babies.

Please explain to me where you're headed with this. Is this your idea of "universal health care"? Where some lefty will decide which babies get a chance at living and which must be aborted because they're too expensive?
