Damn. Why didn't I think of that.

Any idea who you write to get a copy of Christ's birth certificate?

Then why did they have censuses back then? Were they not written down? How did the people back then know to go to Jerusalem to pay their taxes? It came to them out of thin air? How did the gov't know if they paid their taxes or not?
