Randy, I don't know exactly what you are seeing, so I'll shoot in the dark a bit. Generally, size indicates how many shares are bid for at a price and how many are offered at a price. So, if you have 10,000 shares bid for and a million for sale, you might want to consider lowering your offer price if you want to sell your stock. Also, it shows imbalance in the market.

Then again, there is what I tell my girlfriend. Size doesn't matter; it's how you use it that counts. -g- And she always says, "you have two stikes against you, then." MB
