McCain's correct decisions: 1. His personal decision to refuse early release from the Hanoi Hilton signaled a man with strong character. He admits the failure of his 1st marriage was his worst mistake in life. 2. McC advised Pres Reagan to not send the troops to Beirut-- he was right. 3. McC recommended the surge to Pres Bush when he knew it was very unpopular--he was right. 4.
