I never thought about Summit or VISX looking at this company as a possible buy out candidate. Investor Relations (BEAM) told me their always looking at other companies for possible purchases, but for diversification purposes. I dont think ATCI would fit that purpose. However, maybe the ongoing improvement in the technology ATCI offers would create the purpose BEAM needs, to seriously look at this company. Also, there's a little inside selling going on-nothing major (4000 shares @ $5.50 by an officer on October 1, 1997). CANNOT locate any major purchases in the last 3 months though. AUTONOMOUS TECH ATCI $22,000 4,000ÿ 1 - O 10/1 $5.50
