FF, Interesting you mentioned the PII 233. Electronic News (dated Oct. 13) has a full page ad (back cover). The IBM 6x86MX (Cyrix designed, IBM manufactured) blew the pants of INTC's PII 233MHz, Pentium MMX 200MHz, Pentium MMX 166MHz and AMD's K6. Business Winstone 97 with Windows 95 benchmarks. That extra $200-300 in the pocket is starting to looks better and better. BTW, a socket 1 motherboard is not required which should save some additional bucks. Mike
