A reply from Dr Davis on the linked post: "Although I'm not a big fan of artificial sweeteners, I am skeptical that Splenda impacts on blood sugar, also. I wonder if the glycemic index quoted with Splenda was obtained with one of the sugar combined with Splenda preparations that are meant to just contain less sugar."
