Robert; How unbiased is that survey? If you ask Mackeralizers they would end up with a self srrving survey dissing WIntels, and vice versa. Wintels would not have made it this far with the problems they note, so they are biased in some way. I have no problems with Apples or Wintels, I can load programs on each and run them. Assorted peripherals are easier with Apple than WIntel(printers, scanners, etc) as they either work or do not and nothing will change it. At least if it does not work on the Wintel I can fiddle with the drivers and registry and give myself some chance of success.(assuming workign drivers). But once up and running they are very similar in down time, very little. Bill
