Diversified Land Management Group, Inc. (DLMG), announced today that District Court Judge Douglas Weimer entered an order granting possession of the Hiland Terrace Motel in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, to the company.
DLMG purchased the motel in January, but the previous owners left something behind: Their brother. George Snyder Jr. was living at the motel, collecting rent from the rooms. Snyder told executives of DLMG that he was a "tenant" but would leave in July vountarily. It sounded fair to DOMG, but when June came around and there was no sign of the seller’s brother leaving, DLMG filed suit at the District Justice Court in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
At the hearing, DLMG representatives heard wild tales of forged deeds and allegations of organized criminal conspiracy theories as to why the "tenant" and his pet monkey should be allowed to stay forever without paying rent.
"The judge wasn’t buying any of the tall tales and he awarded possession to DLMG. Now we can move forward with converting the establishment into a motel, internet cafe, and convenience store that provides a valuable service to the community" Rodrigo Calderon, President of Diversified Land Management Group said today.
