And so does science. The reason? Without precision, you wind up with the kind of circle jerk that some on this board love. Brumar, for example, is convinced that biologists are using the wrong definition for "species"...

And you were going there.

There is no way that the current definition of "viable" would have excluded you. You were born, normally. The fact that you later fell sick in no way changed that.

If you want to discuss philosophy, I am game. But, that is why the link to the fallacious arguments. Philosophy is enough of a cage match without fallacious arguments. My wife is a PhD student in philosophy. So I have some experience with this...
