I think the fact that they stated on their last conference call that they will not turn a profit this quarter together with them losing market share to IBM, HPQ and DELL is pressuring the stock.

I will repeat that the ponytail jerk has led the company down a legacy path of open source being the savior for the company. Datacenter will be looking for integrated software solutions like Oracle, IBM, etc. If JAVA were to integrate their database, middleware and applications it would become more proprietary and they would lose their mantra of free and open.

I think the board is in a 1990's mode. I admit to being a little bitter because I held this stock for 10 years but sold everything I had two quarters ago.

They were the leading hardware company for the internet but now the best thing they can do is to merge with a stronger company such as HPQ or DELL. I really believe that I could have managed this company better than the ponytail blowhard and I have no IT experience. They went up the wrong stairway and there is not exit.
