COSFF acquired some office products and based on their previous experience developing old-style, stand-alone PC software using C, they were able to maintain and extend it. Thinking they could take the same crew and throw together a Java office suite was more than naive, it was the height of incompetence. They fell flat on their face and if you look at their failed history (insofar as software they have developed in-house in recent years) it's not a surprise. Moreover, you have a CEO who wastes millions on pet hardware projects to accompany his failed software titles.
