Tide glider: Those are free countries. That isn't being disrespectful. Unless Russia already held plans of dominating them. You are simply wrong. koan: We placed new states under an umbrella designed to counter any Russian action. And we also directly strengthened these countries including missles. We did it on purpose to intimidate Russia . What would we do if Russia wanted to put any kind of missle in Cuba or Venezuala?? That is the big question here. What would we do? There was a delicate balance of power in a very complicated part of the world. Like a bull in a china shop bush answered those questions the same way he did in school. Wrongly. Be tough yes, but not provacative.
