Well, Joe, I guess I'm not as sure about some things as are you. Consider such phrases such as: "... a bunch of folks with a need to feel superior ..." "...patting each other on the back about how smart they are ..." "... another attempt to knock someone down a peg ..." Would you truly argue that those statements have the appearance of being positive and objective remarks? Perhaps we could agree that one person's objective opinion may be read by others as being subjective, negative, even a personal attack - when that was never the intention of the originating poster. Some folks, it seems to me, are out there waiting - arms outspread - just waiting to take personal offense at any and all comments with which they have disagreement. M.
