All, visited MicroCenter this weekend here in Boston. Some observations:
1). PII advertising everywhere, from life-size "bunny-people" to screen demos.
2). 300 PIIs finally in. Compaq is currenlty selling their 300 PII model, and the salesperson expecting other brands (HP, IBM) to follow suit by the end of the month.
3). 200 MMX laptops currently in store, and they expect the 233MMX laptop by first week in Novemeber.
4). Salepeople indicate PII sales are good.
