ESA: where are we now and where we going? After the very stressful and time consuming battle to get out of SPAC status, ESA is taking stock and organizing.

(I have promised myself to later write a retrospective post on ESA and the rather macabre SPAC process for those interested.)

It was less than two weeks ago that ST Pipeline was a completely independent entity. So naturally the arrival of ESA has created a lot of uncertainty among the ranks(as does just about any such major change in life). They have to get used to some new bosses or rather a new level of management. Ed Burns says he has been spending a lot of time getting to know the mid level managers at ST Pipeline both reassuring and calming them down.

In addition they have to get some new auditors on the job to help them with the transition to a regular AMEX listed corporation.

ED Burns says he is working harder than ever, but that the work now is a lot more satisfying and less stress fell than it was when they had to buy out the SPAC arb guys in order to survive.

And meantime both divisions have plenty of heavy equipment out there doing a lot of work.

What is to come? I would say some or all of the following: Quarterly then annual earnings and finances for the first time as a listed and unified company, announcements of contracts, and announcements of new acquisitions. Possibly they may start an IR department maybe with a website. Also some sort of promotional campaign possibly with a road show might be in the works.

Details and any kind of a time frame I can't specify. But I still am convinced we've got a real winner here.

Sometimes the time to buy a stock is in the early stages when it is way under the radar. I have been trying here to explain why I am so optimistic. I could always be wrong, of course. I am sure however that there is a strong political tailwind behind NG and that ESA could be a strong beneficiary of this.

Also I would like to again emphasize that ESA is not an appropriate ST trading vehicle but rather an IT or LT investment.
