Jodi, I hope you won't take offense at my jumping in here and responding your question.

I don't find fault at all with his treatise. To me, it's simply a primer - a tutorial of sorts - for many that badly need it. I agree that it has a slight tone of disdain for our type trading. (You see, I'm also a daytrader, momentum trader - even call me a "pump and dump" follower.) Like you, I suspect, I play this game to make money. I can't imagine another good reason to become involved in the stock markets.

Those that don't quite understand our methods fall into a couple of camps. Either they don't have the tools and savvy to daytrade or they look upon quick in/out positions as a form of robbery since they believe this is a zero sum game. It's just a lack of understanding so I wouldn't take umbrage.
