carranza, I know how anxious you and your loved ones must be but just remember that you have plenty of time to prepare for this and evacuate to high ground just in case. Starting tomorrow Gustov will start a very rapid intensification and the media is going to use the story and scare the daylights out of Millions of folks. Think about this, Tornadoes come with very little warning some with 350MPH winds. The ones that occur at night are the most deadly because you can't see them. Here is another thing, Earthquakes strike without warning and they are worst of all natural killers along with the tidal waves that some produce.Here we are well into the 21st century and we still have no way to predict and warn Millions of people. If I were living in Cali I would be a nervous wreck 24/7 I strongly feel the ridge building in the eastern GOM will be guiding Gustov on the west side of the Cone which should keep it closer towards NE TX coast.
