Richard Russsell,

<< The name of the game is volume, staying power($), latest tech and market share;
this is the answer to your question davey boy. mu falling behind in all catagories. >>

If this is referring to my question why new companies start up in DRAM or existing companies stay in DRAM or buy new Fabs... then your answer above makes no sense.

If a product can NOT make money...then good business sense dictates not to get into it or if a company IS in the business already they should get out of it immediately( like INTC did), but if a product can make money than maybe you should take a closer look at what is really going on b/c I do not believe you understand.

Also you said it was crazy that I sold PUTs, that statement is even more absurd..since I bought the PUTs at 1 1/8 and sold at 2 that is called taking a profit. I then went long a 33 1/8 waiting to take profit on them.(maybe I will maybe I won't).

As far as shorts.. you obviously do not understand the market yet, to believe that shorts are safer than PUTs or that options are safer than just going long a stock(even MU). I figure you just need to be seasoned as an investor.... which means you are doomed to lose a lot more money before you can truly understand the differences.

Good Luck Trading,

PS: Some people need to jump in the fire to test whether they will get burned.
