Few see it this way. Obama has been running for president for two years and is widely known and liked even by some who wont vote for him. Palin comes out of nowhere. She has no gravitas at this time. Now she might prove to be great, who knows but your argument above is just wishful thinking. By the way, now that neocon palin is running for veep, russians may make their move in alaska. With teds ossetians moving in and the russian flag firmly planted in the melted arctic ice, perhaps its time to sell alaska back to them at a hefty profit. Alaska could fetch more than the entire national debt and be sure the russians will find all the oil there while fucking over the elk.
