Cleese is my favorite member of Monty Python's Flying Circus, but Palin was good, too, and did great job in "A Fish Named Wanda." <G> Actually, I love this move. She's young and has some ideas (other than getting her former brother in law fired). She is conservative without being a total Nazi. A child with Down's Syndrome may make her more compassionate than most GOPers, which having any compassion at all would do. All in all, a young, vibrant woman to offset a creaky old man in the top spot. Great choice. This is the least repugnant Republican ticket since Roosevelt/Taft. I liked Ike and respected him in many ways, but his VP was a total toid. Kudos. I like this choice much more than Biden with all of his baggage. And it is McCane who is showing the first new idea, not Obama.
