It's not just zeroing in on the Gulf, it's zeroing in on the biggest cluster of oil platforms in the Gulf. This market is like you Ted. It wants to party REAL bad. Bad news not as bad as expected is good news. Bad news is "priced in". In other words, the market is as delusional as the most extreme right wingnut. Disclosure: I just put in a huge bet shorting the DJIA for Monday.
