Soon after Fox broke the news of Palin's selection, the Obama camp sent in a snarky response to the effect that McCain had chosen the mayor of a 9,000 person town with no foreign policy experience. No mention that she is a Governor.

The knee jerks in that campaign need to grow up.

The remark was stupid on so many levels, beginning with the usual habit of the elites to denigrate small towns and those who live in them. Just another "clinging to guns and religion" gaffe.

Beyond that, their top man, the Empty O, has no foreign policy experience, no executive experience, and a nothing record as a state senator and "community activist." He
certainly has no real experience as a U.S. Senator either since he has done nothing on that job but run for the next job.

And finally, despite the fact that McCain has quite a few years on Obama, his choice of Palin showed that McCain has a bigger set of cojones. Obama more than played it safe with Biden for the gray hair factor...lol. What he forgot was that Biden was the antithesis of the Obama message of change.

Goes to show that anything can go under the bus with Obama.

Last night's speech was like a designer truffle. Beautifully arranged on the outside, but full of liquid saccharine sweet goo on the inside. Obama's goo was just the usual Dem offerings. Bread and circuses as I said yesterday.

Today it looks like McCain ripped the "change" wagon right out from under Team Obama.

It should get interesting now......
