And besides AQ would not have been in control. The only reason the Iraqi Sunnis tolerated them was because they helped attack US soldiers. If you have intellectual honesty, you would admit that leaving at that precise time was a bad idea. You can afford to be honest. It would have been a great time. Hell, anytime would have been a great time. Now would be a great time. GOP convention need to remind the voters of this deep commitment of Obama (and Dem leadership) to US defeat.
