If, indeed, Democratic and pro-choice women are drawn to the McCain-Palin ticket, as the Reps hope, then they will be in for a deep shock in a few years. Palin is vehemently anti-choice, anti-equal pay, anti-universal health care - opposite on all the issues that drew them to Hillary. If the Republicans win, and McCain is able to appoint one, two, or even three Supreme Court justices, then we WILL see the overturning of Roe v Wade in our lifetimes. And those women who crossed over to support a woman just because she is a woman will be kicking themselves from here to the hereafter... But, it does make a fascinating race even more so.
