I was very disappointed, but not the least bit surprised, when the Senate did absolutely nothing about Dodd's unethical taking of money from Countrywide. It's an "old boys club" where they protect each other at the expense of the country. That's why I don't want McCain or Obama to become president. It will just be more of the same crappy governance with a slightly different flavor.
