The point of the MSFT entry isn't so much who wins as the impact of a serious competitor taking market share and reducing ad rates. By any common methods, Yahoo already has a very difficult time justifying its valuation. Lower unit revenues and a big slice of the pie going elsewhere aren't going to help.
