Another view of the loop current eddy in the Central gulf (coloring the rest of the gulf 'blue for cool' is a bit of an exaggeration, LOL)



BTW for anyone who gets Direct TV, they have a "Hurricane Information Channel" set up for traffic conditions for evacuation and presumably stuff like school and work closings, shelters, etc, etc. It's on channel 363.
