McCain's accomplishments came to him in a plate. Palin did everything herself. She did not have the admiral father and grandfather to push her military career or the rich spouse to bankroll her political career. And she took on single handedly the corrupt Alaskan Republican establishment and won, at a far younger age than McCain's maverick moves.
