Obama has already mown down one woman in his quest for the White House that left him on shaky ground. The Democratic treatment of Sarah Palin will not go unnoticed by American women.

I don't think it was just Obama. I think it was a coordinated decision on the part of the Dem powers that be, including the big money guys, to go with a black man versus a woman of any color. [If the Dems want to talk about glass ceilings, they might want to take a hard look at their own power structure.]

Obama is the most radical left Senator and the most radical left applicant for the 2008 Dem nomination. But on many left/liberal issues, you could have covered BO and Hill with a dime, meaning that they basically espoused the same core beliefs and approaches.

I think they decided to go with Obama for three reasons: (1)to tap into white guilt and shame the public into voting in BO precisely because he is Black and "it's time", (2) shaming people into it allows a person with the most radical left agenda to take the office, while that agenda might not fly with a middle-aged white male of any extraction, and (3) there was insufficient "guilt" to tap into where women are concerned.

The fact that the female contender was Hillary just made it easier to pull off because they could blame her baggage. Of course, they forgot they had anointed her for the run only a relatively short time before they pulled out the rug.
